Francesco Majo

Francesco Majo
Born in Italy, near the border with Slovenia, Francesco Majo is a photographer and filmmaker whose work explores the shifting boundaries between reality and imagination. After studying photography at IED in Milan, he continued his education in travel journalism in London, NLP in Barcelona, and Reiki in Mantua, cultivating a multidisciplinary approach that informs his creative vision. He is fluent in Italian, English, French, and Spanish.
For over twenty-five years, Francesco has lived and worked in major European cities including Milan, Paris, London, and Barcelona, collaborating on international projects while developing his personal research. His photography and films have earned prestigious awards in both commercial fields—especially food photography—and in artistic contexts that recognize his continuous search for new forms and languages.
His visual language transforms subjects into objects of contemplation, inviting viewers into a paradoxical space where representation becomes an active force. His work springs from the interplay between individuals and their physical and mental environments, reflecting an inner world made of dreams, symbols, and images — an imaginary substratum that shapes human thought and action. Through this lens, Francesco proposes an escape from convention and a return to the essential, the universal, and the unseen.
